About the Founder

Bella started Care to be Kind after she formed close bonds with three, older sister queens: one attending middle school, one enrolled in high school, and a college student. Their experiences transitioning to middle school and their stories helped shape Care to be Kind. Upon witnessing a peer from another grade level sit alone in her school’s cafeteria while others from that same grade ignored the situation, Bella was inspired to start her own mission. The mission of Care to be Kind is to ensure kids are observant, inclusive, and confident enough to be kind to others…to care to be kind. A successful day is being brave enough to say,

“You can sit with me.”

Care to be Kind starts now. It starts in middle school—a tough time—and can continue throughout lifetimes.
